2. Listing Your Products

  • Only list species you are legally allowed to sell and that comply with UK law and CITES regulations.

  • Upload high-quality photos showing the live animal clearly and any included enclosure or accessories.
  • Specify pricing, shipping options, and any live arrival guarantees you offer.

3. Legal Compliance & Welfare Standards

  • Ensure all tarantulas are bred or sourced legally; wild-caught species must comply with CITES and UK regulations.
  • Follow the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and other relevant UK legislation for the care, transport, and handling of live animals.
  • Be honest about the health and condition of the animals to ensure buyer safety and trust.

4. Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Process orders promptly and communicate shipping timelines to buyers.
  • Use safe, insulated packaging to protect live animals during transport.

5. Payment & Fees

6. Communication & Support

  • Respond promptly to buyer inquiries through the platform messaging system.
  • Keep all communication professional, clear, and courteous.
  • Escalate disputes to Tarantula Market support if issues cannot be resolved directly with the buyer.

7. Best Practices for High-Quality Listings

  • Update your listings regularly to reflect availability and animal condition.
  • Provide detailed care guides or reference links for buyers.
  • Maintain consistent quality in photos and descriptions to build trust.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated for repeated violations of platform rules, legal non-compliance, or reports of unethical practices.
  • All disputes regarding account suspension will be reviewed by Tarantula Market support.
