Pamphobeteus is a genus of large, visually striking tarantulas known for their bold colors and fast growth. Native to tropical regions of South America, they are highly active and often visible, making them a favorite among experienced hobbyists.
These spiders thrive in warm, humid environments and require ample substrate for digging. Though generally not aggressive, they can be skittish and will readily flick urticating hairs. Due to their size and speed, they are best suited to advanced keepers.
