Plesiopelma (Tarantulas)
Plesiopelma is a genus of small to medium-sized terrestrial tarantulas found throughout South America, especially in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.
These spiders often inhabit forest floors or grasslands and tend to be secretive, hardy, and slow-growing.
While not especially common in the hobby, some species display subtle beauty and unique ecological traits. They’re generally calm but shy, and their specific humidity and temperature needs make them more suitable for intermediate or advanced keepers.
