Caribena (Tarantulas)
Caribena is a small genus of visually stunning arboreal tarantulas native to the Caribbean.
Formerly grouped under Avicularia, they were separated based on unique morphological features, including spinneret structure.
These spiders are known for their vibrant coloration, calm behavior, and graceful arboreal lifestyle.
Due to their humidity requirements, good ventilation needs, and sensitivity to poor husbandry, they are best suited for intermediate to experienced keepers familiar with caring for arboreal species.
